At Hunt Minas, we are feeling extremely proud to have helped one of our clients apply for a grant from the
St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation – the charitable arm of the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group.
Our client is involved with Macmillan Cancer Care and found out about the grants available when speaking to Julian Hunt during a regular review meeting recently. Assisted by our Practice Manager, Helen Davies, we established that the charity met all the criteria necessary for funding under the Local Office Allowance. Subsequently, an application was submitted to the Foundation’s North West Office and after only a short consideration period they awarded Macmillan a payment of £2,500, the maximum available to any applicant under the Local Office Allowance.
Macmillan’s Corporate Fundraiser for the North West, Cheryl Jenkinson, visited our office at the end of August to collect the cheque on behalf of the charity. Pictured above is Cheryl along with our very own Hunt Minas team members George Minas, Helen Davies and Julian Hunt.
We are thrilled to have helped such a great cause.
